The rocks may be golden in color at the Golden Falls on the road from the Nanya rock formations up to the village of Jinguashi, but this is due to ferric oxide and other pollutants from the old mines reacting with the water rather than a sign that a lode of the precious metal may be hidden somewhere close by.
