Guangfu Township, Hualien


Just like Lintianshan (林田山), Guangfu Township (光復鄉) has some delightful old Japanese colonial houses. Built using Chinese cypress trees, these were constructed for the use of managers and employees of the nearby Hualien Sugar Factory. Keelung Dianji Temple


At the heart of the Keelung Miaokou Night Market (基隆廟口夜市)is the Taoist Dianji Temple (奠濟宮). This is the largest temple in Keelung, and features a shrine to the local deity Kaizhang Shengwang (開漳聖王) of the people of Zhangzhou (漳州), who migrated from Fujian Province during the latter part of the 19th century to found the city.
