We’re putting the final touches to our preparations for Embedded World 2020, which takes place in Nuremberg, Germany, from February 25 – 27. Our booth is located in the same spot as in previous years in Hall 2, #2-551.
The future of vehicle safety is the core theme of our booth. We will be showcasing our VIA Mobile360 family of specialized in-vehicle solutions for commercial applications ranging from public transportation, taxis, and ridesharing services to mining, construction, and industrial environments.
One of the highlights is the VIA Mobile360 D700 AI Dash Cam, a simple yet highly sophisticated device that is easy deploy and manage. Featuring a pair of 1080p cameras that record footage inside and outside the vehicle while it’s moving, the compact and unobtrusive VIA Mobile360 D700 offers so much more than a conventional dash cam with its 4G LTE network capability, CAN bus support, and AWS Kinesis Video Streams (KVS) certification.
KVS support enables companies with large vehicle fleets to dramatic improve how video content and alerts are managed. Features like automated time indexing, encryption, access control, and live on-demand playback can be enhanced further with advanced analytics and machine learning thanks to pre-integration with AWS ML and AI services.
VIA Mobile360 in-vehicle systems that give drivers of larger vehicles such as buses, coaches, and excavators to the full picture of what’s happening around them in real-time are another key focus of our booth. Supporting a rich blend of 360° surround view video and advanced driver assistance features like Blind Spot Detection, Dynamic Object Detection, Front Collision Warning, and Rear Collision Warning, these systems can be easily customized to meet your specific deployment requirements. They can also be configured with the VIA Mobile360 Driver Monitoring System for analyzing driver behavior and issuing alerts when drivers are drowsy, distracted, or even smoking on the job.
I will be attending Embedded World 2020. If you would like to set up a meeting, please contact me here. I look forward to seeing you there!
