I’m looking forward to going to CES next year. This will be the first time in ages that I have been to the show, and I’m sure it will provide an excellent opportunity to catch up with all the latest developments in the industry.
You will be able to find me at the OCF (Open Connectivity Foundation) booth located at #40930 in the Sands, Halls A-D, where we will be demonstrating the VIA Alegro 100 – a highly flexible home gateway router that can be configured to support all the most popular wireless standards, including Bluetooth, ZigBee, Z-Wave, KNX-TP, KNX-RF, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet.
There will also be a lot of other great demos on display from other OCF member companies including Intel, Microsoft, Samsung, and Haier.
Since being invited to act as Chair of the Asia Pacific Marketing Task Force earlier this year, I’ve had a lot of fun representing the OCF at events in China and Taiwan and promoting its vision of enabling interoperability between connected IoT devices. The level of interest in our work has been extremely encouraging, and I am very optimistic about our prospects of further boosting the OCF’s presence in Asia next year.
If you’re going to CES, you’re more than welcome to drop by the OCF booth. In addition, please feel free to contact me by email if you would like to learn more about the Asia Marketing Task Force.
