Varanasi Darbanga Ghat

The palatial Darbanga Ghat was built by the Raja of Bihar, then known as Darbanga State, in 1915. Also known as the Brijrama Palace, the building is in the middle of being converted into a luxury hotel.

The steps of the Darbanga Ghat are a popular spot for pilgrims, who gather here to bathe in the waters of the River Ganga.

The Darbanga Ghat is located just south of the Munshi Ghat along the banks of the River Ganga.
