VIA at ISC West

VIA License Plate Recognition System

With ISC West just over a week away, we’re making the final preparations for the show. At the VIA booth, we will be demonstrating the latest additions to our growing family of AI-driven edge computing systems for in-vehicle, building, and home security applications.

One of the highlights will be the VIA Mobile360 License Plate Recognition System that we announced last Thursday. Powered by the NVIDIA Jetson TX2 module, the system enables the high-performance automatic detection and recognition of license plates in real-time or from recorded footage.

With its ruggedized design that supports up to four high-definition cameras, the system can be installed in buses, police cars, and other public service vehicles to facilitate the identification of stolen vehicles, traffic-rule violators, fine evaders, and criminal suspects. It also provides a flexible solution for owners of parking lots, gas stations, toll roads, and other facilities to enhance the security and efficiency of their operations by automating vehicle authorization, payment, and monitoring processes.

Other systems we will have on display include VIA Mobile360 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), the VIA Mobile360 Smart Recognition Security System for building access management, and the VPai Home Smart Security IP camera. Multiple customization options are available for all these systems to meet specific installation requirements.
